Apart from wooden panels, I would also make my own paper by hand, for any massive, irregular-shaped drawings. Inspired by my favourite artist, Kiki Smith, I collected different types of paper from all over the world and tore them into small pieces. Afterwards, I would soak them in water and glue them back together as one once they were dried. The textured papers became an unconventional canvas for my fluffy animals, erotic plants and historical architecture.
